Color: Indigo Bunting
And one of the best ways to enjoy the increasing color is to watch the summer birds that visit our feeder.
Last summer we attracted Indigo Buntings with safflower seed, and the seeds that spill from the feeder this year are attracting them to the deck floor. The feeder itself is visited by both male and female Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks. The Goldfinches have shed their drab winter garb for full summer regalia. Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds and Baltimore Orioles are visiting our sugar-water feeder.
Since I don't like the look of multiple pictures and can't figure out how do a layout I like, I'll share pictures of the other birds in other posts.
